St Peters take out the 25th Annual Swim Champs

St Peters Lutheran College have continued their swimming dominance by taking out their 7th consecutive AIC swim title.

The talk pre season of a close contest between St Peters and Marist was certainly true. Although St Peters led from the start, Marist gained back some points with their strong sprint performances from the winning year levels, the 14yrs and 15yrs. St Peters didn’t waiver from their 30 plus buffer going into the freestyle relays and finished the day 40 points ahead of Marist. Both schools had far too much depth for the competition and it saw Iona and Villa battle it out for the last spot on the podium with Villa the victors – their best ever result for swimming. There were 14 records broken on the day, St Peters took out 6 of them.

Marist won the 14yrs and 15yrs and SPLC took the cups for the 12yrs, 13yrs, 16yrs and Opens.

Final Points
