In each sport that the member College’s compete in, premierships are awarded across the secondary school divisions. Students at each College strive throughout the season to achieve an AIC Premiership.
The ‘First’ team at each College is the premier team in that sport. A College achieving a “First Team” premiership is a great honour and is recognition of a College’s development of players from when those students commence at their respective schools – for most this would be from Year 5 or Year 7. First team players are role models for all students in their respective College’s, not just in skill and teamwork, but also in behaviour, dedication and presentation.
