AIC Year in Review: Swimming

This year’s AIC Swimming Championships again showcased some of the best school swimmers in Australia. The standard of competition at the AIC Swimming Championships continues to build every year with phenomenal performances by swimmers from all of the AIC Colleges. In 2023, Ambrose Treacy College again joined the 8 member schools to compete in the Swimming Championships.

Individual and Relay Records 
Overall, during the carnival there were 14 records broken. Congratulations to:

Championship Results 
Both the Primary and Secondary Aggregate Shields were incredibly tight competitions throughout the day. In the primary competition, Villanova won the championship with Marist College Ashgrove 2nd and St Peters 3rd. In the secondary competition, both St Peters and Marist College Ashgrove battled for first place throughout the day, with the lead changing almost after every race. At the end of the day, St Peters were crowned secondary champions, Marist College Ashgrove 2nd and Villanova 3rd.
