Term 3 Mid Season Wrap Up

As we head into Round 4 this weekend there are some teams that are definitely marking their mark on the competitions. Iona College and Padua College are looking very strong in the rugby league. All of Iona’s teams are the top of the tables in all divisions. The First XIII between Iona and St Edmunds should be a good one out at Banyo this weekend.

St Peters once again look to dominate in the Tennis with all of their teams sitting at the top of the ladder boards. Iona remain undefeated also in the First IV so it should be a good clash v St Peters come Round 7 if they both keep winning streaks.

Eddies looks like the school to beat in most of the premiership eligible teams for Basketball. Sitting at the top of the table in First V, 11A, 10A, 8A and 7A. Villa and Lauries also feature heavily at the top of the ladders for most age groups. St Peters have some contending teams too. By the scores in our First V comp, Villa seem hard to beat. We don’t get many 100+ games but Villa have scored over 100 points in two rounds already. Very impressive.

Our first track and field meet for the year is on Thursday at SAF. The event program is below.

Best of luck to all teams for Round 4, hope everyone had a good break last weekend.
