What a great day of racing for the 20th AIC Swim Championships. A large number of records were broken and the carnival was enjoyed in good spirits by all schools.
Congratulations to St Peters Lutheran College for taking out the Senior Aggregate and Marist College Ashgrove the Years 5 and 6 Aggregate.
Padua College led the Year 5 results for most of the day but Ashgrove were too strong and consistent in the end. Villanova’s Year 6 swimmers were superb and led from the front all day. Ashgrove clear winners in the primary comp, a comprehensive 53 point win over Iona and Villanova.
It was a real tussle between St Peters and Ashgrove and Iona in the 12 Years – Open ages, Iona the big improvers. The Ashgrove boys fought hard and were real contenders but SPLC were awesome!
