St Patrick’s College won the First VI Volleyball premiership in term one of this year, the first time in their College history. It was a very convincing win for the season with the SPC team defeating 5 out of the 8 schools 3 sets to nil.

Congratulations to both Padua College and Iona College whom recorded historic wins this year by securing the 1st XV and 1st XI premierships respectively.

Padua College had previously won the title, but had never done so undefeated. Padua’s 1st XV success was the culmination of a development program some years in the making. The College also won the 16A and 16B Rugby premierships, ensuring that they will be the College to watch in 2016!

Iona College snared the 1st XI Football premiership for the first time in College history. They had to wait until the last round, up against the traditionally strong Villanova College. Iona won the match 4-1 in front of what many have described, the biggest AIC football crowd ever seen. They shared the premiership with St Patrick’s College.
