AIC Year in Review: Tennis

The 2023 AIC Tennis season was another exciting one for tennis players in the Association. The format used for fixtures includes teams competing in both singles and doubles games, with the winning team being decided by total matches won. Often the fixtures are even on matches and the result is decided by sets and then if still tied, individual games won. This year, St Peters tennis teams stood out by winning both the First IV Premiership and the Aggregate Shield.

First IV Premiership
The First IV Premiership was a very tight contest with a number of fixtures being decided on total sets and in some cases to total games throughout the fixture. St Peters were able to remain undefeated throughout the season to claim the premiership. St Laurence’s finished a very close second with Marist College Ashgrove in third.
