Marist College Ashgrove have won the 18th annual AIC Swimming Championships, while Iona College won the Years 5 and 6 Aggregate.
The Years 5 and 6 title was closely contested all day between Iona and Villanova with the overall champion school being decided by the last relay race of the day! Villanova won the Year 5 age group while Iona took out the Year 6 age group win. Iona winning the overall division by only 6 points.
The 12 Years to Open aggregate was also keenly contested by Ashgrove and St Peters – a 21 point difference between the winners and runners up. It was a fantastic day of swimming with many AIC records broken. By presentations, Villanova took home one age group; Iona two age groups; Ashgrove two age groups and St Peters three age groups.
