This afternoon the AIC Cross Country Season will officially begin with the first “Warm Up” Cross Country meet to be held at the Sherwood Arboretum. Every school has been training hard for a number of months, and the first meet of the season is an excellent opportunity to compete against athletes from other Colleges. This year, the eight AIC member Colleges will again compete, along with our AIC “Guest” College – Ambrose Treacy.
There will be 3 “Warm-Up” meets held before the season culminates with one of the biggest days in the AIC calendar – the AIC Cross Country Championships. Marist College Ashgrove (Primary) and Iona College (Secondary) will be out to defend the Aggregate Shields they secured in 2023.
