Well done to all schools on a great winter season. Congratulations to the First Premiers – 1st XV Ashgrove; 1st XI Iona and 1st IV Chess to Villanova.
Marist Ashgrove were hugely dominant on the rugby ovals and their well drilled First XV were rewarded with the premiership. The football was hotly contested with the overall aggregate results coming down to the last game of the last round. Iona and Ashgrove fought that out with Ashgrove winning overall by a point. Iona winning the 1st XI premiership.
The chess was also very close with Villanova and St Pats on level ground right up until the last move was made!! Well done to St Pats, the winning chess school. Villa taking out the 1st IV title.
