Congratulations to Marist College Ashgrove, our Cross Country Champions for 2018. With only one point in with two races to go, once again the AIC Championships was a very closely contested carnival. With Iona and St Peters ‘hot on their heels’ Ashgrove had to maintain their consistency going into the 16yrs and Open races. It was another great day at Limestone Park, with the age groups wins spread out amongst 5 schools throughout the day – wonderful to see Padua College first up to win the Year 5’s! Iona were too strong across the day in the primary and took out the 5&6 Aggregate. Ashgrove ending up winning the day by 2 points from Iona and St Peters who tied for second place. St Patrick’s, Villanova, St Laurences, Padua and St Edmunds taking out the minor placings with only 6 points separating these 5 schools.
