Best of luck to all sporting teams this Saturday, the last round of term one sport. Whilst Iona look like to be the front runners in the volleyball aggregate, Ashgrove are slightly ahead of Villanova for the top position in cricket and there will be some premiership games on the line with those two schools battling it out in the last round.
Interestingly, Iona will be going for both the 1st XI Cricket and 1st VI Volleyball premiership titles on Saturday, an exciting day for the College.
Due to the inclement weather we have had over recent weeks, the 1st XI Cricket table is crowded at the top! Iona, Villanova, Ashgrove and St Patrick’s are all tied on 36 points so some big games for those schools on Saturday.
