Lots of records broken on Day 1 of AIC Track and Field 2018. The primary event was hard fought between Ashgrove and Iona with the lead changing throughout the afternoon. Iona 10 points ahead of Ashgrove and 45 points ahead of Padua College. Ashgrove and Iona also will battle it out in the secondary, Ashgrove coming out on top – 40 points clear of Iona. The minor placings is interesting with only 14 points separating 3rd place (St Peters) and 7th. Best of luck to all athletes today for the final day of competition!
